Global Stone Are Delighted to Become Associate Members of APL

May 19, 2021

Over the last few years we have worked closely with The Association of Professional Landscapers and The Horticultural Trades Association and are delighted to announce that we are now Associate Members of the APL.

For over 15 years we have built strong, long standing and mutually beneficial relationships with our partners. We have actively supported the APL for the last few years by attending events and meetings. Such as Regional Cluster Groups, The Garden Press Events and seminars.

The Association of Professional Landscapers is at the forefront of developing and maintaining professional standards and services, providing the necessary confidence when choosing a landscaper. It is important to us that our premium natural stone and porcelain products are managed by trusted landscapers in a professional way. Which is why we believe that APL accreditation is so important.

Who are The Association of Professional Landscapers?

Established in 1995, the APL, a specialist group of the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), represents landscapers who have met a required standard of professionalism. The APL was formed to help consumers make an informed choice. It is the only landscaping scheme operator of Trustmark, a Government endorsed initiative that promotes professional trades to consumers.

The rigorous inspection process to join the APL is the toughest within the industry. Along with the initial inspection, each member is inspected annually. This is to ensure they have up to date insurances, comply with health and safety law and their quality of work is to the highest possible.

Selecting an accredited APL

By choosing a member of the APL you can be assured of a professional standard of workmanship in line with our own, from a company that is fully insured, adheres to a strict code of conduct and is regularly assessed.
